Dr. Tom’s Chiropractic Journey

  • Chiropractic Care Philosophy: Probably the biggest and most important attribute to the development of spinal issues is our lifestyle, generally people spend way too much time sat in front of a handphone or computer. This typically causes a lot of stress to build in our spine, which over time can lead to pain and tightness in our joints and muscles. The longer things are left, the worse your symptoms typically become, so it’s important to get things checked quickly.
  • Journey into Chiropractic Care: My journey into chiropractic started at 12 years old after a rugby-related injury. Despite seeking help from many medical professionals, no one could reduce my symptoms. At my worst, I couldn’t walk or attend school, and it affected my sleep, energy levels, mood, and quality of life. My mum suggested I see a chiropractor after she had great results. Within six months, I was back to playing rugby and living normally. The chiropractor’s holistic approach, treating the whole body rather than just the symptoms, was inspirational and changed my life. From that point, I wanted to help others as I had been helped.

Personal Interests and Hobbies

  • Free Time Activities: I’m very sporty, I used to swim and play squash to a high level in the UK. Travelling and exploring new places is another big hobby. I decided to take a year-long career break in 2023 and travel throughout Asia. The trip helped me make the decision to move to Asia permanently. I’m also a massive foodie, so being in Singapore is great to satisfy my need for good food!
